London: Rapid Addition, the leading software solution provider to the global electronic financial markets, has today announced the launch RA-Quantum Gateway, a high performance solution for managing the compression and decompression of market data streams with multiple data formats.
Intel has requested Rapid Addition, the leading FAST and FIX engine solutions provider, to participate in a live demonstration will simulate a complete trade life cycle that will display performance gains on Intel's new 3.0Ghz Nehalem processor architecture versus the previous generation 3.0Ghz Harpertown processors. The trade life cycle will be split into three components and individual demo's will be undertaken by each company involved i.e. RA, Thomson-Reuters and Apama. Intel will in parallel visually display performance on another screen of the CPUs as they move from an idle state to a loaded state and back to idle.
LONDON-Officials from Borsa Italiana and its owner, the London Stock Exchange (LSE), expect to complete the integration of the exchanges' trading activities in the second quarter of this year, DWT has learned.
The final phase of the migration from Borsa Italiana's Affari trading system to the LSE's TradElect platform will include the Mercato Obbligazioni e Titoli di Stato (MOT) Italian retail fixed-income market and Securitized Derivatives Exchange (SeDeX), says Robin Paine, CTO of the LSE.
